20140717 Sun in Ha

20140717 Sun Ha

Description:

The first astrophoto that I've taken in a very long time.

The camera that I used wouldn't cover the whole Sun, so I took a shot of each quadrant and merged them together. I couldn't get everything even though, as you all can probably tell. I need more practice or a video cam with a bigger imaging chip.

Only saved the red channel when capturing. Converted to a grey-scale images when processing, turned back into a color image at the end.

North is up.
